TUTORS' TEAMBUILDING - JANUARY 2008

Teambuilding activities never fail to help groups develop effective communication and

problem-solving skills. Teambuilding activities are loads of fun besides being a tool

for strengthening various groups. They can be good icebreakers for the beginning of a meeting

or a way to build stronger ties with members we already know.

150 Kedah, Jitra & Kangar LC tutors attended the one-day Teambuilding Program. Mr. Loo Sze Wei, Deputy Dean, FBM came to fasilitate the program. We started the program with a 1 hour Poco-Poco lead by Tutor Abdul Shukor Zainal. It was the first time trying Poco-Poco for most of us. It was fun...........

For indoor teambuilding games tutors were divided into small groups and various games were organised. At the end of the day, group leaders presented their groups' logo, moto and 'promises' to enhance learning & teaching process in OUM.

EID-UL-FITR - SHARING THE HAPPINESS Part 1

Everyone has a heart and some have extraordinarily big ones. They never hesitate when someone asks for a dollar, an hour of their time, or a symphathetic ear. And most people are willing givers. We want to give to make other people, especially the least fortunate, feel good & happy.

When we pass the hat during tutorial classes, to collect some funds to contribute to the unfortunate for the 1428H Eid-ul-Fitr celebration, we wre surprised by the response. Students, tutors & staff from PP Kedah, PP Jitra and PP Kangar donated RM4,199.10. Thank you to all. We certainly hope our good deeds will be blessed by Allah.

We went to Bedong, Old Folks Home and 4 other families to hand some donation to ease their burden for the Eid-Ul-Fitr celebration.
